Do I really need zero experience?
Yes — most of our students start with none. We begin with simple movements, then build to a small pattern and a mini routine to music. You will dance something real on your first visit.
Is the free class a group class or private?
Your free first class is a beginner group class — you learn a fun dance alongside other newcomers in a relaxed setting. If you would rather have one-on-one attention and a personalized plan, ask about the private $69 Journey Starter Session instead.
Do I need a partner?
No. Solo students and couples are both welcome.
What is the catch with the free class?
No catch. It is a genuine group class so you can see whether we are the right fit. There is no obligation to sign up for anything afterward.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and clean, smooth-soled shoes. No dance shoes required — just come as you are.
Where are you located?
Dance Journey Studios is in Churchill Farms Retail Center in Katy, TX — easy to reach from I-10 and the Westpark Tollway, with parking right out front. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:40 AM to 9:20 PM; weekends by appointment.
